I can't believe it's so cold
During my childhood, I was cared for by general western medicine. If you have a cough, you can use "cough medicine", and if you have a fever, you can use "antipyretic medicine". I used to take various medications. My father (Yoshiharu Shindo) was originally a Western medicine otolaryngologist, so there was nothing I could do.
My father started studying Oriental medicine when I was in high school. After retiring from the municipal hospital where I currently work (actually I was fired), I opened an Oriental medicine (mainly acupuncture) clinic at home, while focusing on "expelling cold". Then, my father gradually began to advocate the "Expelling Cold" Health Preservation Method. At first I was like, "What are you talking about? I don't understand."
I don't want to wear toe socks!
When I was about 22 years old, my father suddenly took out a pair of rough cotton socks and said, "Wear these." To be honest, I endured it at home, thinking, "No way! Why should I wear such ugly socks?" But because I worked in a company, I took them off when I went to work and wore stockings over my skirt when I went out.
My dad asked, “How do you feel wearing it?”, but I remember not really understanding it and just responding with a casual “OK”. (sorry……)
Allergic rhinitis, fever, unbalanced diet
I suffer from allergic rhinitis. I am a child who suffers from nasal congestion all year round, and it is getting worse and worse. Nasal drops are essential. My head always felt heavy, my mouth breathing got worse, even when I slept I would wake up in pain, I always fell asleep with nasal drops by my bed, it was natural.
My body wasn't that strong and I had a bad fever.
Of course, I was always barefoot. Also, due to a horribly unbalanced diet, I hated meat and fish. Until I was an adult, I only ate processed foods like ham, sausages, and chikuwa.
I like dairy and veggies, I eat celery and peppers which the kids hate, and I love sweets so I often go with a bag of sweets saying "I don't need rice". I remember a relative saying, "How will this child eat and live?"
Improved after "getting rid of the cold"
If you have a bad digestive system, you will crave sweets. Digestive poisons attack the kidneys, so if you have digestive poisons and kidney poisons, you are more likely to have problems with your nose.
If you go barefoot, "cold" will naturally accumulate, so the venom will accumulate in the kidneys which are most susceptible to "cold", and your nose will become worse.
Even now, if I do something silly with a sweet tooth, my nose might get clogged or runny, so I’ll quickly reflect.
I thought, “I’m going to have to deal with this stuffy nose for the rest of my life,” but when my dad told me I was starting to “push the cold away,” it gradually got better, and by the time I realized that, I had forgotten the nose drops were there.
I have personally experienced and believe it
My father is a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. Although he has been advocating a "cold-expelling" health regimen centered on "cold", he was confident but confused at the beginning. Some people laughed at me and called me a “fraud” or “your father is crazy.”
Many patients don't believe it either. It is common to see people coming to the hospital barefoot, hurriedly putting on socks at the door, then taking off their socks at the door and returning barefoot.
I thought to myself, "Warming your feet won't improve your illness." But in the end, I half-believed and half-doubted and admitted that the high fever of about 40 degrees in a half-body bath subsided overnight, and I returned to normal. I could go to work the next day, and all kinds of changes appeared. I had no choice but to do it.
Nowadays, "expelling cold" is gradually being recognized by people. In that regard, I think our execution has become easier.
First, try it yourself.
I don't know at first, but it will change more or less over time. 10 people and 10 colors with various variations to make everyone's face different.
What’s important is to feel it yourself.
