At first I had no interest in “ warding off the cold ” and hated to wear even a pair of five-toed socks, but now I’m wearing 26 pairs of socks .


I think some women have experience, especially during menstruation, that my legs felt unusually cold, so I took a chance and added a few more socks than usual. Then, it became easier, and I gradually realized the benefits of layering socks.


I felt uneasy about being barefoot as I experienced how increasing the number of socks made my body feel easier, and it seemed that gradually increasing the number of socks made my body feel good.


Socks Addicted?


When I write stuff like this, some people accuse me of being “addicted to socks.” However, to be clear, "I am afraid of addiction, but sock addiction does not bother others, and the law does not say that you should not wear socks in layers to keep yourself healthy. What's wrong with that, because I choose to wear whatever I like!


Now wear 26 layer socks, but stopped at 14 layer socks for a while for many years because I didn’t have shoes. The shoe store said: "Even if you size up, the width and height of the instep will not change, only the length will increase."


Then the “cold boot” was developed, so I can now wear 26 pairs. I wear them every day now. (Thank you)
