I like the taste of ginger, so I have the habit of eating ginger every day since I got rid of the cold. At first, I used fresh ginger as an ingredient to make porridge or drinks. Later, a friend introduced me to organic dried ginger. It tastes delicious and is easy to make. I also learned that dried ginger has a better warming effect than fresh ginger. After referring to Dr. Ishihara's method of using dried ginger to expel cold, I became more fond of using dried ginger as a daily ingredient to expel cold.
Here are three simple ways to eat dried ginger for your reference:
1. Brown sugar ginger water
A super simple everyday warming drink, perfect for drinking every morning or after lunch.
Material:
Five to six slices of dried ginger
500 ml water
Brown sugar as needed
Method: First wash the dried ginger slices with clean water, put them into hot water, add brown sugar and stir well, then bake for ten minutes before drinking. Friends who like tea can add black tea leaves or black tea bags to enjoy.
2. Red Date, Sweet Potato, Millet and Ginger Porridge
A very healthy recipe, suitable for a warm breakfast early in the morning to warm up your body quickly and prepare for the challenges of the day!
Material:
Three to five red dates
Sweet potato, diced
1/4 cup millet
1/4 cup white rice
Four to five slices of dried ginger
1/2 cup of water (depending on the pot)
Wash all ingredients and cook for 30 minutes before enjoying.
3. Grind the dried ginger into powder
Grind the dried ginger slices into powder using a grinder and put it in a seasoning bottle. You can add the ginger powder to porridge, soup or noodles as a seasoning when eating.
